PRODUCT SELECTION POLICY

• ByteStart Technologies does not provide product customization beyond the specifications published on the Website. Customers may choose from the available models, configurations, and accessories.
• Some products carry a minimum 3-month warranty.
• Minimum order quantity per product is one (1) unit.
• Product listings will clearly mention specifications, refurbishment grade, and warranty details. Customers are advised to review these carefully before purchase.
PAYMENT POLICY
- Full advance payment is mandatory for all orders. Accepted methods include:
a. UPI
b. Net Banking
c. Debit/Credit Cards
d. EMI options (if applicable) - Cash on Delivery is not available.
- Customer payment is collected securely via integrated payment gateways.
- In case of refund processing, a 2% transactional fee (as incurred by the platform) will be adjusted before refund is issued.
CASH ON DELIVERY PROHIBITION RATIONALE
ByteStart Technologies prohibits COD for the following reasons:
• Operational Efficiency & Security: COD is not supported due to risks of refusal, delays, and cash handling.
• Warranty Registration: Products require warranty activation before dispatch, which is possible only with advance payment.
• Platform Policy: The platform operates digitally with pre-paid payment structure to maintain trust, safety, and transparent transactions
WARRANTY & REFUND POLICY
Warranty Coverage:
Refurbished laptops are sold with a limited warranty of 3 months (as specified in the product description). Warranty covers hardware defects but excludes physical damage, liquid damage, and issues arising from unauthorized repairs.
Return & Refund Procedure:
Return requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery by writing to info@RefurbTechs.com with order details and issue proof.
Products must be returned in their original condition with all accessories.
Refund will be processed only after inspection and verification.
Refunds are issued through the original payment method only.
Non-Refundable Cases:
• Software-related issues, compatibility concerns, or buyer’s remorse.
• Products damaged due to mishandling by the customer.
• Wrong product ordered by the customer.
• Customer-induced damage after delivery.
Damaged/Defective Merchandise:
• Claims regarding damaged or defective merchandise must be accompanied by photographic evidence and to be sent to info@RefurbTechs.com
• ByteStart Technologies, in its sole discretion, will determine whether a full refund or replacement is warranted
• ByteStart Technologies reserves the right to deny any claim that fails to provide sufficient evidence of damage or defect
Financial Terms:
• All approved ByteStart Technologies refunds will be issued exclusively through the original payment method.
• Customer acknowledges and agrees that shipping costs are non-refundable except in cases where ByteStart Technologies, in its sole discretion, determines otherwise.
• ByteStart Technologies bears no responsibility for banking delays, transaction fees, or currency fluctuations affecting refund amounts.
PRIVACY POLICY
Information Collection:
• ByteStart Technologies collects personal data including but not limited to: name, email address, shipping/billing address, contact number, and payment information.
• ByteStart Technologies automatically collects browsing data including IP address, browser type, and navigation patterns through cookies and similar tracking technologies.
• ByteStart Technologies maintains records of all customer service interactions.
• Data Sharing: Customer data may be shared only with authorized service providers (payment gateways, logistics, and customer support partners).
• Security: The platform follows industry-standard security protocols, though complete risk elimination cannot be guaranteed.
Information Usage:
• Customer expressly consents to ByteStart Technologies using collected information for:
• Order processing and fulfilment
• Customer support services
• Personalization of shopping experiences
• Warranty claims
• Marketing communications (subject to opt-out provisions)
• Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Information Security:
• ByteStart Technologies implements commercially reasonable security measures but MAKES NO GUARANTEE regarding the absolute security of customer information.
• Payment information is processed through third-party payment processors subject to their respective security protocols.
• Customer acknowledges that data transmission over the internet inherently involves security risks that ByteStart Technologies cannot eliminate.
Information Sharing:
• ByteStart Technologies may share customer information with third-party service providers for payment processing, shipping fulfilment, and marketing services.
• ByteStart Technologies reserves the right to disclose any information as required by law or to protect its legal interests.
• Customer expressly consents to such information sharing by using the Website.
- Customer Rights:
• Customers may request access to or correction of their personal information through their account settings.
• ByteStart Technologies reserves the right to retain certain information notwithstanding customer deletion requests where required by law or legitimate business interests.
• Customers may opt out of marketing communications through provided unsubscribe mechanisms.
Cookies and Tracking:
• Customer acknowledges and consents to ByteStart Technologies’s use of cookies and similar tracking technologies.
• Customer assumes sole responsibility for managing cookie preferences through their browser settings.
Policy Updates:
• ByteStart Technologies reserves the unilateral right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time without individual notification to customers.
• Continued use of the Website following any policy update constitutes acceptance of such changes.
BUSINESS OPERATIONS DISCLAIMER
- ByteStart Technologies operates exclusively as an online business without any physical retail location or warehouse facilities accessible to the public.
- Customer support is available exclusively through designated communication channels including email, telephone, and online chat services.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BYTESTART TECHNOLOGIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
- BYTESTART TECHNOLOGIES’S TOTAL LIABILITY, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
- CUSTOMER EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT COLOR REPRESENTATION ON DIGITAL DEVICES MAY VARY FROM PHYSICAL PRODUCTS, AND SUCH VARIATIONS SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE GROUNDS FOR RETURNS OR REFUNDS.
INDEMNIFICATION
- Customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BYTESTART TECHNOLOGIES, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses arising from customer’s use of the Website or any products purchased therein.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
- This BYTESTART TECHNOLOGIES Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
- Any dispute arising under or relating to this BYTESTART TECHNOLOGIES Policy shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Gurugram, Haryana.
SEVERABILITY
- If any provision of this BYTESTART TECHNOLOGIES Policy is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that this BYTESTART TECHNOLOGIES Policy shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.
POLICY MODICATION - No modification of this BYTESTART TECHNOLOGIES Policy shall be effective unless it is authorized by BYTESTART TECHNOLOGIES and posted on the Website.
By placing an order with BYTESTART TECHNOLOGIES, customer acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this BYTESTART TECHNOLOGIES Policy in its entirety.
